Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Two (2) years of experience developing software using AWS cloud infrastructure and management tools, including CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail
  • Building CI/CD pipelines using Concourse
  • Designing and managing containerized applications using ECS and Docker
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using CloudFormation, AWS CLI, Concourse Pipelines, and Bash Scripts
  • One (1) year of experience working with TCP/IP and firewalls
  • Writing scripts for automation tasks using Bash
  • Using version control systems, including Git or Mercurial
  • Analyzing cloud usage using cloud cost management tools, including AWS Cost Explorer
  • Ensuring cloud security using WAF, CrowdStrike, and OPENS
  • Working in a DevOps environment
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new software and web applications using AWS cloud infrastructure and management tools, including CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Concourse, GitLab CI/CD, and CircleCI
  • Design and manage containerized applications using ECS, EC2, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using CloudFormation, AWS CLI, Concourse Pipelines, and Bash Scripts
  • Work with TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls
  • Write scripts for automation tasks using Python and Bash
  • Use version control systems, including Git and Mercurial
  • Analyze cloud usage using cloud cost management tools, including AWS Cost Explorer
  • Ensure cloud security using WAF, CrowdStrike, and OPENS
  • Work in a DevOps environment
  • Support applications under development and customize current applications
  • Assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases
  • Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
  • Document all development activity
  • Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products
  • Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
  • Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements
