Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. As an integral part of our outbound sales efforts, you will identify and qualify potential leads, initiate contact with prospects, and nurture relationships to drive revenue growth. This role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanor, and a passion for building long-lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers through various channels, including databases, social media, industry events, and other sources.
Outbound Prospecting: Make outbound calls, emails, and other forms of communication to engage prospects, introduce our products/services, and set up appointments for the sales team.
Qualification: Gather essential information from prospects to assess their needs and pain points, and fit with our offerings, ensuring that only qualified leads are passed to the sales representatives.
Relationship Building: Establish rapport with prospects and maintain continuous communication to foster trust and interest in our solutions.
Sales Pitch: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential customers, emphasizing how they can address specific customer challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
Sales Pipeline Management: Update and maintain accurate records of all interactions, leads, and customer data in the CRM system to track progress and optimize the sales pipeline.
Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly/monthly targets for qualified leads and other key performance indicators (KPIs) established by the sales management team.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to align strategies and optimize the sales process.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to improve performance and stay ahead of competitors.
Requirements:
Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or lead generation is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade prospects effectively.
A persuasive and persistent demeanor, with the ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude.
Highly self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets.
Ability to adapt to different customer personalities and situations during outreach.
Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) and sales tools (Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Nice to have’s:
Understand basic accounting principles and functions in addition to how businesses manage cash flow, and a basic understanding in economics.
A background in Banking, Finance, and Accounting.
B.A, B.S or equivalent experience
Working Schedule:
This is a full-time, in-office position with a 5-day workweek. Office hours are typically from (9:00AM - 6:00 PM) from Monday to Friday.
