Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles.
  • 1 year of experience in production-grade machine learning solutions.
  • 1 year of experience with ML libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark ML.
  • 1 year of experience in object-oriented programming with Python and GO.
  • 1 year of experience in data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in software testing including unit, integration, smoke, and canary testing.
  • 1 year of experience in debugging including reviewing error messages.
  • 1 year of experience in system design patterns.
  • 1 year of experience with Snowflake SQL, large-scale computing (Spark, PySpark), and AWS for Machine Learning model training.
  • 1 year of experience in deep learning.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver production-grade machine learning products from end to end to make Samsung Ads a key player in the mobile performance ads market.
  • Design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art and scalable machine learning models to achieve different optimization goals (e.g., app-install optimization, ROAS optimization, retention, etc.).
  • Research the latest machine learning technologies and keep up to date with industry trends and developments.
  • Analyze complex problems with massive advertising data, identify gaps, and propose and execute technical proposals.
  • Create prototypes of new ML-based solutions quickly and put them into production.
  • Closely work with different internal ML teams (e.g., ML platform, ML serving, and MLOps teams) to improve our codebase and product health.
  • Closely work with cross-functional partner teams in global settings to deliver new ML features and solutions and achieve business objectives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
