Requirements
  • At least 5 years of channel sales or partner management experience, ideally at a technology vendor selling through a diverse partner ecosystem.
  • At least 2–4 years of people management experience leading a team within a channel or partner sales organization.
  • A demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets as both an individual contributor and team leader.
  • Deep understanding of channel sales end to end, including deal registration, partner incentives, co-selling motions, market development funds, enablement, and the Account Executive-to-partner relationship.
  • Strong operational judgment with the ability to identify friction, solve problems quickly, and build scalable processes and systems.
  • Ability to coach and develop high-performing sales professionals while setting clear expectations and maintaining accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, sales development representatives, marketing, operations, and channel leadership.
  • Ability to work at pace in a high-volume, high-accountability environment.
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the company to partners, coach team members, and communicate clearly with executive leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Channel Account Managers and Channel Sales Development Representatives across North America, owning performance management, pipeline reviews, deal escalations, and career development.
  • Own the North America channel revenue number, with the team quota rolling up to the role across new business and expansion, including cross-sell and upsell, across a diverse portfolio of partners.
  • Drive day-to-day channel operations, including territory routing, deal-specific problem solving, Account Executive and partner coordination, and partner escalations.
  • Partner with Account Executives to maximize channel-sourced pipeline and ensure the partner co-selling motion runs smoothly and at scale.
  • Build and execute partner business plans with top-tier partners, setting clear key performance indicators, milestones, and accountability at both the representative and partner level.
  • Run structured pipeline reviews, forecasting cadences, and performance reporting, providing channel leadership with accurate and reliable business visibility.
  • Partner with Channel Marketing on co-branded demand generation, market development fund utilization, events, and campaigns that drive measurable partner-sourced pipeline.
  • Drive partner enablement across the portfolio, ensuring partners understand the company’s value proposition, are certified where relevant, and have the resources needed to position and sell the company successfully.
  • Identify and act on growth opportunities within the existing partner base, including new geographic coverage, vertical expansion, and deeper partner activation.
  • Represent the channel internally by bringing partner insights, competitive intelligence, and field feedback into broader go-to-market strategy and product conversations.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

  • Experience with IT infrastructure, endpoint management, remote monitoring and management, cybersecurity, or adjacent software-as-a-service technology.
  • Experience with Salesforce and SalesLoft.

Summit Partners retains NinjaOne stake with $625m continuation vehicle

Summit Partners is transferring part of its investment in NinjaOne to a continuation vehicle, raising $625m in a transaction led by Lead Edge Capital and Hamilton Lane. The deal comprises $500m for the continuation vehicle and $125m in uncalled commitments for future development. The vehicle will hold approximately half of Summit Partners' stake in NinjaOne, which provides cloud-based IT endpoint management solutions. Existing investors could sell their stake, transfer exposure to the new vehicle, or combine both options. NinjaOne's valuation has surged from $5bn in February 2025 to $12.3bn by June, following a $400m Series C funding extension.
