Pay range is $25.00– $26.45 per hour (DOE), plus a $75/month cell phone allowance, and includes the following benefits:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for driving the execution of clerical, logistical, and facilities to support the organization. The People Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our team, members, and guests. This position performs a variety of tasks and duties aimed at optimizing and maintaining the efficiency of daily operations within the office and with our live programs. The People Operations Coordinator will have broad functions in purchasing, travel and expense processing, facilities, accounting, reception, and event logistics.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
- Support Purchase Order (PO) requests, resolve PO discrepancies, complete purchase requests, and manage vendor relationships
- Source venues for programs, meetings, etc.
- Order supplies and manage inventory of printed materials
- Book corporate travel for guests, troubleshoot booking system problems, and assist with expense management system administration
- Respond to and assist with shipping requests, incoming shipments, and receiving shipments in ERP system
- Partner with Accounting to provide support in document requests and transaction clarification
- Make sure all supplies are stocked and that the workplace is welcoming for team members and guests
- Document management
- Oversee Continuing Education Unit (CEU) submission and communication with governing bodies
- Act as the VIP liaison for live events
- Support in billing and expense classification
- Prepare event services including, but not limited to, ordering food and beverages, making restaurant reservations, booking/arranging transportation and building manifests, building shipping lists and sending shipments, preparing and sending pre- and post-event communications, creating staff logistics, and providing welcome services onsite at events
- Support with the build and maintenance of online registration for events through our registration management system, Cvent
- Support live events for members, prospects, and GN North America
- Other duties as assigned
CAPABILITIES:
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred)
- Experience with Cvent (preferred)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- B.A./B.S. in a business-related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing events and administrative support in areas such as purchasing, travel and expense processes, facilities, reception, and/or event logistics (preferred)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Full-time position working in the office Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Travel may be required up to 2–3 times per year for live event support
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORK DEMANDS:
- Regularly lift and push items up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift, push, and carry items more than 50 pounds, with assistance
- May spend up to 50% of the workday standing or moving
- Must possess a valid driver’s license; requires driving once a week for distances less than 10 miles
