Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 5 years Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook and HRMS System.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of communicating with all levels of employee-administrative to staff.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Able to function independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Participates in establishing systems within the departments which support and practice shared governance management philosophy. Participate with Executive Administrator KCMG, Ambulatory Chief Administrative Officer, CNO, Medical Director, USC Care CMO and local management to optimize clinical operations and drive outcomes.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are in place and followed for continuity of planned care.
  • Ensure proactive, high quality communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
  • Work with physicians and staff in assuring that the physicians have adequate availability to meet requirements and internal Department standards. This includes adequate staffing plans and staffing contingency plans.
  • Work with Managers, supervisors, IT and Ambulatory leadership to assure practices are in compliance with all quality and financial metrics by performing periodic audit of records.
  • Work with the Medical Director or USC Care CMO and individual physicians to support compliance.
  • Monitor space/resource requirements and utilization of outside resources.
  • Participate in the design of new space, expansion and integration projects as applicable to the service line.
  • Oversee the transitional process of new acquisitions and participate in due diligence meetings as appropriate.
  • Maintains a liaison relationship between USC Care Medical Group ambulatory services, department leadership through attendance and participation at meetings and through oral and written communication.
  • Responsibilities include interface with all departments, including HR, Billing, IT, legal and more.
  • Collaborates with the team to ensure the right codes are in the EMR for billing, and to address any questions the physicians may have in alignment with the organization
  • Coordinates, develops, and implements the organization's strategies related to physician integration, development, and practice support services
  • Directs the expansion of the managed care delivery network and the access to medical services in the organization's surrounding communities.
  • Develops programs designed to maintain effective healthcare relationships.
  • Builds relationships with physicians in the community. Coordinates with marketing functions to develop and cultivate outreach initiatives.
  • Designs programs to maintain and develop relations between the healthcare system and physicians. Acts as a representative among members in the medical field to establish partnerships and affiliations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree In related field (i.e.: Healthcare or Business) in progress or completed.
  • 3 years Operational Experience in the ambulatory setting.
