UiPath creates software that helps businesses automate repetitive tasks using robotic process automation (RPA). Its products design AI-driven workflows, run bots, and manage automation in the cloud or on-premises. Customers license the software or subscribe to cloud services, receive professional support, and can access a marketplace of third-party integrations to extend the platform. The system works by letting users build and deploy automation workflows that coordinate across different applications, with a central orchestrator to schedule and monitor bots in real time. What sets UiPath apart is its large and growing ecosystem, extensive integrations, and scalable cloud-based orchestration that supports enterprise deployments across many industries. The goal is to reduce operating costs and raise productivity by expanding automated processes throughout organizations.

UiPath announces ai-powered orchestration and CX automation on Salesforce AgentExchange. New AgentExchange integrations connect AI agents, automation, and enterprise workflows to help customers extend their agentic enterprise NEW YORK / Apr 16, 2026 / Business Wire / UiPath (NYSE: PATH), a leader in agentic business orchestration, today announced the launch of two new offerings on AgentExchange, Salesforce's marketplace for the agentic era that brings together the rich ecosystem of AppExchange, Slack, and Agentforce into one experience - making it easy for customers to discover, buy, activate, and manage trusted solutions across Salesforce. UiPath CX Companion and UiPath Maestro Connector, currently available on AgentExchange here, enable enterprises to bring AI-powered automation and orchestration into agent-driven workflows across Salesforce and other enterprise systems. Together, these UiPath offerings help eliminate friction between systems, manual processes, and disconnected data so teams can focus on outcomes instead of time-consuming tasks. AgentExchange provides a trusted ecosystem of nearly 14,000 vetted apps, agents, sub-agents, tools, MCP servers, integration, and experts that help customers solve their unique business challenges faster. UiPath Maestro Connector enables enterprise-grade process orchestration by connecting Salesforce Flows and Agentforce agents with workflows that span ERP, finance, HR, supply chain, and other core business systems. As the orchestration layer, Maestro coordinates AI agents, automations, and people in a single governed workflow, enabling teams to review, approve, and guide processes when needed while maintaining full visibility through dashboards, SLA tracking, exception handling, and compliance controls. UiPath CX Companion embeds directly into Agentforce, giving contact center representatives instant access to customer context, AI agents, and relevant automations in one place. CX Companion automatically surfaces the right actions for the case or account that a representative is working on, enabling teams to trigger cross-system workflows with a single click and eliminating constant tab-switching. Because it operates as a UI layer and stores no data, CX Companion can be integrated without introducing additional security or compliance risk. * "UiPath Maestro and CX Companion extend Salesforce's agentic and workflow capabilities, orchestrating AI agents, automations, and people across every system and team in the enterprise," said Raghu Malpani, Chief Product and Technology Officer, UiPath. "Agentic transformation isn't just about deploying AI - it's about governing it within end-to-end workflows that connect customer engagement to back-office execution. UiPath helps enterprises turn AI-driven decisions into real work across the business." * "UiPath CX Companion and UiPath Maestro Connector are welcome additions to AgentExchange, as they accelerate business transformation for customers by bringing AI-powered automation and orchestration into agent-driven workflows," said Brian Landsman, CEO of AgentExchange and EVP of Global Partnerships, Salesforce. "AgentExchange is constantly evolving to connect customers with the right apps and experts for their business needs." Additional Resources Salesforce, Agentforce, AgentExchange, AppExchange, and others are among the trademarks of Salesforce, Inc. UiPath reported fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $481 million, reflecting 14% year-over-year growth, alongside its first full year of GAAP profitability with $57 million in operating income. The company also authorised a $500 million stock buyback. Despite these milestones, shares fell 16.5% as investors weighed CEO transition news and competitive pressure from large AI providers. UiPath is expanding its agentic AI offerings, including Agentic ERP launched with Deloitte, targeting complex enterprise workflows in sectors like financial crime and healthcare. The company faces questions about whether new AI offerings can drive sustainable ARR growth amid slowing revenue expectations and intensifying competition in the agentic AI space. Optimistic analysts project $2.1 billion revenue by 2029.

UiPath has outlined its product strategy focused on transitioning from traditional robotic process automation towards agentic automation and business orchestration. CEO Daniel Dines and Chief Product Officer Raghu Malpani discussed the roadmap during a virtual event, emphasising the company's Maestro workflow engine and integration of coding agents. Dines said UiPath has "pivoted the entire company" to enable its platform to work with coding agents from tools like Claude Code and Codex. He argued that whilst AI assists at design time, complex multi-step enterprise processes still require deterministic workflows rather than fully autonomous AI execution. The company aims to support AI-assisted automation across the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to production monitoring and exception handling, positioning itself as a coding agent-agnostic platform for enterprise automation.
UiPath has launched new agentic AI solutions targeting finance, retail, manufacturing and financial services sectors, whilst expanding Chief Technology Officer Raghu Malpani's role to Chief Product and Technology Officer. The moves consolidate product and technology leadership as the company pushes deeper into AI-driven workflow automation. Trading at $11.24, UiPath shares sit 18.6% below the $13.81 analyst target midpoint. The stock is up 14.8% over the past year but down 29.2% year-to-date and 32% over three years. The company's price-to-earnings ratio of 20.9 trails the software industry average of 30.0. Analysts forecast earnings will decline 23.6% annually over the next three years, making execution on the AI roadmap critical for investor confidence.
