Requirements
  • Qualified and Experienced – Degree, and accounting qualification with post-qualification experience, including strong technical accounting skills, ideally in both UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Finance Director in answering urgent finance queries from the board, shareholders and management team.
  • Joining in with key Technical Accounting decisions – Reviewing the financial modelling outputs and providing insight under both United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Preparing new business proposals – Managing approvals for new business/renewals and supporting customer presentations.
  • Partnering with the Lenvi Senior Leadership team and Finance team – Ensuring resource capacity meets commercial performance needs, ensuring the requirements of Human Resources and Compliance are covered.
  • Reviewing and improving performance – Analysing actual versus forecast, taking action, and supporting decisions.
  • Providing clear reporting – Delivering timely insights to track and enhance commercial performance.
  • Leading and developing team members and colleagues – Supporting colleagues to excel and providing top-tier finance partnership.
  • Leading the team in improving maintenance of and reconciliation between the United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice and International Financial Reporting Standards accounting models.
  • Managing internal proposals for new business/renewals, securing approvals and preparing customer presentations.
  • Reviewing commercial performance, taking corrective action, and providing decision support while engaging relevant teams.
  • Analyzing competitor activity and financial performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Improving processes and systems to support commercial and financial goals, preventing revenue loss.
  • Leading and developing the team to ensure high performance and excellent Finance Business Partner support.
