  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in communications, public relations or another related field
  • Strong project management skills, preferably with a large organization.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and comfort level interacting with senior executives.
  • Comfortable working on both analytical and creative projects with the ability to quickly transition from one to the other.
  • Highly proactive, determined and results driven.
  • Interest in and deep understanding of internal and external storytelling and ability to mine for unique stories, craft compelling narratives and place them in compelling earned, owned and internal channels.

Responsibilities
  • In partnership with team leadership, help develop and drive a cohesive, strategic approach to bring to bring our communications to life.
  • Help develop proactive integrated communications strategies inclusive of data-driven storytelling, earned media, colleague efforts and more.
  • Develop, implement and maintain communication plans prepared for a variety of enterprise-wide strategic communications including proactive and reactive/issues management scenarios.
  • Support of a range of communications needs for our Executive Management Team members including briefings, internal and external announcements, newsletters and social media.
  • Partner with Media Services and Content teams to identify and develop new communications tactics and opportunities to drive employee awareness and two-way engagement.
  • Oversee the distribution of internal emails and the upkeep of internal websites related to the team’s portfolio of work.
  • Support internal reporting and audit needs.
  • In partnership with members of the broader team team, support efforts that contribute to strong processes, controls and governance amongst our team.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
