The Davis Community runs a 54-acre nonprofit senior-living campus in Wilmington, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and short-term rehabilitation. Independent living is provided on the The Cottages and The Residences, while skilled nursing uses a household model with small, dedicated care teams; rehabilitation is available at a Rehabilitation & Wellness Pavilion, and The Promenade public wellness center adds dining, a spa, events, and a gym with a warm saltwater pool. It differentiates itself through a full continuum of care on one campus, a household-based nursing approach, Medicare/Medicaid certification, and a public wellness venue that expands community engagement and revenue. The goal is to provide comprehensive, continuous care for aging adults while actively engaging the surrounding community.
