- Hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing
- IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
- Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and final electronic and/or cable assembly products to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Utilize microscopes, magnifiers, calipers, and other measurement tools to inspect solder joints, components, wiring, and assembly workmanship.
- Accurately document inspection results, non-conformances, and rework or repair needs using appropriate quality records and databases.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions for identified quality issues.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality-related concerns and improve manufacturing processes.
- Support training initiatives by mentoring or providing guidance on IPC standards and inspection best practices.
- Maintain calibration of inspection tools and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
