Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with 7+ years experience in a pilot line or manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing process design, equipment procurement, and/or equipment commissioning
  • Experience working with external vendors and partners to specify, design, and deliver high quality manufacturing solutions
  • A collaborative, cross functional approach to solving difficult problems and balancing conflicting priorities
  • Experience with high throughput bulk material unloading, feeding, dosing, and blending equipment is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize, model, and build specifications for Form’s next-generation high volume manufacturing lines
  • Influence Form Energy’s next-generation product design by providing DFM assessments to product design & R&D teams
  • Develop, de-risk, and validate new production methods utilizing existing pilot and production lines
  • Own a manufacturing workcells from specification through final design and commissioning in partnership with internal equipment engineers and external OEMs and integrators
  • Collaborate with the factory and industrial engineering teams to optimize factory layout and material flow
  • Coordinate with customer teams such as Process Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure that we are building systems that meet Form Energy’s standards
  • Train engineers and equipment operators on newly landed equipment
