Periop Turnover Assistants Make It Possible
Non-Certified Periop Turnover Assistant – Full Time - Day Shift
Join our high-profile perioperative team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens and build on our reputation for excellence as you provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of ambulatory care surgical procedures. As a periop turnover assistant you will insure availability of instruments and supplies during perioperative, preprocedure and preoperative and peri-procedure periods and assist nursing staff with patient and room preparation. This is a Full Time Day position (36.25hrs/wk; 8A-4P Monday- Friday) at NYP/Queens.
Preferred Criteria
Prior experience in healthcare
Prior experience in housekeeping
Required Criteria
High school diploma or GED
IAHCSMM certification required or upon starting must be certified within 18 month period and complete 400 voluntary hours in central service department
