Requirements
  • Education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a job related field of study
  • One (1) year of work related experience
  • Skilled in the use of standard software applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Must maintain confidentiality and security of information
Responsibilities
  • Supervises clerical support staff in performing standardized tasks related to receiving, filing and processing documents, fees and fines, maintaining records, files and reports, and providing excellent customer service
  • Ensures effective delivery of services by training staff, coordinating, delegating and monitoring assignments, evaluating performance, providing feedback and collecting data for performance measures
  • Acts as a technical expert, researches and resolves more complex issues, responds to inquiries, audits work processes and reconciles/corrects exceptions
  • Assists management with employee related issues which may include: serving on an interviewing team, coordinating leave activities, maintaining time and attendance, preparing performance appraisals and making staff recommendations
  • Stays abreast of changes in applicable laws, policies and procedures, recommends and implements changes to policies and standard operating procedures, and assists management in establishing goals and objectives
  • Performs other duties as assigned
