Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of Texas.
  • An earned post-professional doctoral degree, such as a Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Science, or Doctor of Education, in physical therapy or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.
  • Current membership in the American Physical Therapy Association.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach courses in the professional Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
  • Participate in service activities within the School and across the University.
  • Maintain an active scholarly agenda.
  • Advise Doctor of Physical Therapy students.
  • Abide by the Texas Woman’s University Faculty Responsibilities, Standards of Conduct, and Disciplinary Processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in anatomy, including cadaver dissection.
  • Prior experience in academic or clinical teaching.
  • Specialization from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
