  • At least a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • 3+ years of experience with battery systems, with at least 1 year in test and validation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of battery test equipment (battery cyclers, environmental chambers), test methods, and test specifications
  • Experience with configuring and testing electric vehicle or stationary storage control units (with a preference for battery management system experience)
  • Familiarity with CANalyzer, CANape
  • Previous experience in a role requiring test plan development
  • Experience working with medium and high voltage systems
  • Product launch experience from early prototypes to volume production
  • Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Specify battery management system design validation plans
  • Own the execution of various battery management system tests
  • Develop test procedures that define instrumentation, fixturing, test environment, etc
  • Own the execution of various BMS tests including algorithm verification and regression tests
  • Analyze test data and results vs. system and sub-system requirements and validation plan objectives
  • Ensure data quality from executed tests
  • Automate processes where applicable
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience with stationary energy storage systems is a plus
