Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in a software engineering or software development role.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, an engineering discipline, or another technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing, analyzing, developing, preparing, and applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.
- Direct experience preparing and presenting technical reports.
- Experience with simulation software such as MATLAB and Simulink, and potentially programming languages such as C++ or Python.
- Research and development experience with innovative engineering solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement processes.
- Experience with industry standards and best practices for battery systems.
- U.S. citizenship is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Design system architecture, write code, and debug software.
- Apply engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, and evaluate communications systems.
- Review and analyze specifications, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Organize, analyze, and present data in reports and presentations.
- Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems, equipment, and components.
- Compile, process, and analyze test data results.
- Provide subject matter expertise on the operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment and components.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with batteries and energy storage.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
