Business Manager, Business Execution & Analytics, Marketing & Content
The Business Manager role is within the Business Execution & Analytics team in Citi’s Marketing & Content division. Broadly, the purpose of the role is to help to drive efficient operations across the Marketing organization. The predominant focus of the role is defining and managing the internal communications framework for the Marketing leadership team and the wider Marketing franchise to enable an effective engagement model. The role also involves managing the talent development plan for Marketing so that resources are optimal. As part of the Business Execution & Analytics team, the role involves supporting strategy planning, marketing analytics, budget planning, controls and operations and leading on strategic transformation projects. Interaction with senior colleagues across the Marketing teams and across different geographies, and giving direct support to the head of Business Execution & Analytics and the Chief Marketing Officer, are central to the role. Having a comprehensive understanding of the marketing objectives of each business, good project management and presentation skills, and being an advocate for the value of marketing to driving positive commercial outcomes are also important. This role provides the opportunity to be part of a new team, to learn, and to help drive the success of Citi’s Marketing & Content division.
Responsibilities:
- Define and manage internal communications framework within Marketing & Content team, including team meetings, townhalls and using all relevant communication channels.
- Managing talent development and employee engagement across Marketing.
- Support the Business Execution & Analytics team and Chief Marketing Officer with strategy planning, operations, analytics, budget planning and reporting tasks.
- Connecting different teams and stakeholders across Marketing and its partner teams to enable projects to be managed effectively and the Business Execution & Analytics team can achieve it’s objectives.
- Working with senior stakeholders on presentations and communications, ensuring timely, creative and clear message delivery.
- Expected to work with business partners across the Marketing and Content organization to help drive efficiencies and get work done effectively.
- Expected to have a good all round understanding of the marketing goals across Citi and help teams to implement initiatives, through an understanding of processes, technology and structure, and report on commercial outcomes.
- Areas of responsibility may include managing detailed marketing processes and controls across end-to-end marketing functions.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 10 plus years of experience in financial services
- Broad knowledge of analytics, marketing, internal communications and project management
- Good understanding of the business and how best to optimize the use of resources
- Demonstrated process management disciplines - designing, refining, and managing execution processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once without any detriment to delivery or quality
- Exceptional communication skills, PowerPoint, Excel
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and client management
- Demonstrated digital marketing competence
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
