In this role you will support Responsible Investment reporting and focus on accumulating, calculating, and reporting of the impact of Social, Environmental, and Governance metrics for the firm’s investment book and strategies. It will involve collecting, communicating, measuring, and analyzing RI/ESG factors to ensure accuracy and the delivery of time-sensitive information for clients, marketing materials, investment professionals, and all levels of management.
How you’ll spend your time..
• Produce, develop, ensure data integrity of RI/ESG metrics, such as portfolio to benchmark contribution to carbon footprint, and assess issuer impacts to Social, Environmental and Governance factors, and support regulatory and client specific reporting.
• Reconcile and analyze RI and ESG metrics using analytical tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Oversee the monthly production cycle of RI and ESG metrics and validation of production data.
• Effectively interpret, analyze, and communicate RI and ESG related questions from clients, marketing, investment professionals and management.
• Participate in project-oriented initiatives to meet the objectives of the performance analytics department either in a team or self-directed environment, such as automating report solutions or participating in departmental projects.
To be successful in this role you will have..
• Work experience specific to responsible investment reporting as well as performance measurement and analytics.
• Experience in investment management or financial services
• Strong numerical and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Access
• A strong team player who is able to successfully meet deadlines.
It would be great if you also had..
In depth understanding of RI/ESG concepts and calculations and ability to communicate concepts to internal stakeholders.
Proficient with data and report automation
Experience with performance systems/vendors, such as FactSet and Aladdin.
