Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in logistics with international network, preferably with customer service
  • High School Diploma Required
Responsibilities
  • Processes orders, changes, adjustments, and accurately loads into companys system (AS400).
  • Communicates to customer acknowledgement of the order.
  • Answers and addresses customer inquiries in addition to communicating any possible delays.
  • Maintains up-to-date customer profiles in companys system.
  • Prepares and sends invoices in a timely fashion.
  • Primary internal point of contact for customer after sales.
Desired Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
  • Italian language knowledge a plus

Wieland has acquired Techni-Cast LLC, a South Gate, California-based centrifugal-casting foundry. Founded in 1954, the family-owned company operates two production sites with around 100 employees and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS9100 certifications for aerospace suppliers. Techni-Cast offers melting, centrifugal casting, heat treatment and precision machining services. The company's equipment includes CNC machines for tight-tolerance machining and conventional lathes for deburring, enabling delivery of fully processed components for critical applications in demanding markets. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
