Commure Ambient AI gains Class I certification for UK and EU deployment

Commure announced its Ambient AI clinical documentation platform has achieved CE-marked Class I medical device certification under EU MDR 2017/745 and MHRA registration in the UK. The platform is now commercially available across the UK and Europe. Commure Ambient AI converts clinician-patient conversations into structured clinical documentation in real time, with clinicians reviewing and signing each note before it enters electronic patient records. The platform qualifies as Class I under MDR Rule 11 because it drafts documentation rather than informing diagnostic or therapeutic decisions. The product is deployed in over 50 countries and powers more than 40 million annualised appointments in the US alone for health systems including HCA Healthcare and Tenet Healthcare. It integrates with over 60 EHR systems and includes UK data residency options designed for NHS procurement requirements.

Commure wins two Stevie(R) Awards for Technology Excellence, including Gold for Company of the Year in Healthcare Technology. CEO Tanay Tandon honored as Executive of the Year. July 23, 2026 07:00 ET | Source: Commure MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., July 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Commure, the leading AI-native healthcare RCM & Ambient platform, today announced it has been recognized with two 2026 Stevie(R) Awards for Technology Excellence, earning Gold for Company of the Year - Healthcare Technology, and Silver for Executive of the Year - Healthcare Technology for Co-Founder and CEO Tanay Tandon. The awards recognize Commure's work in building healthcare's modern AI-native infrastructure, purpose-built to eliminate healthcare's administrative work tax and give clinicians more time with patients. Rather than layering AI onto decades-old systems, Commure built its platform from the ground up on a single, intelligent data model that integrates directly into health system workflows. Its solutions span the full patient and revenue journey from AI-powered call center agents, through to referral management, ambient clinical documentation, and end-to-end AI revenue cycle management. "Healthcare doesn't need AI bolted onto legacy systems," said Tanay Tandon, CEO of Commure. "It needs infrastructure built for AI from the ground up. We're proud to partner with health systems to build technology that helps clinicians spend more time caring for patients and organizations operate more efficiently." Over the past year, the company launched a variety of groundbreaking solutions such as Commure Orchestrator, AI Call Center, and Dictation. It most recently secured $70 million in financing at a $7 billion post-money valuation, and was also named to Fortune's Future 50 and recognized as one of TIME's World's Top HealthTech Companies. Today, Commure partners with more than 500 healthcare organizations across 3,000+ sites of care, including over 130 of the nation's largest health systems. The platform integrates with more than 60 EHRs, processes more than $25 billion in annual claims, and powers more than 100 million patient interactions each year. The Stevie Awards for Technology Excellence honor organizations and leaders driving innovation across industries. Winners were selected by independent judging panels representing technology experts from around the world. About Commure Commure delivers next-generation AI infrastructure for enterprise health systems, integrating ambient intelligence, agentic AI, and revenue cycle automation on a single platform. Commure launches Orchestrator: the ai-native referral management and patient intake platform. The solution closes the gap between referral sent and patient seen - eliminating fax-based workflows, reducing referral leakage, and cutting pre-visit administrative burden. June 30, 2026 08:30 ET | Source: Commure MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Commure, the leading AI-native enterprise healthcare platform, today announced the general availability of Commure Orchestrator, an advanced end-to-end referral management and patient intake platform, addressing the costly industry-wide challenge of referral leakage by automating intake. "Every referral that doesn't convert is a patient who fell through the cracks and revenue that never shows up in the books," shared Dan Warner, President of Commure. "Orchestrator automates the entire pre-visit workflow so neither of those things has to happen." The solution streamlines the full pre-visit workflow, moving every referral through a single automated pipeline. It ingests any unstructured data source, extracts structured clinical and payer data, validates against your business rules, coordinates across teams in a unified dashboard queue, and writes accepted referrals directly back to the EHR. Commure Orchestrator is designed to operate across care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, post-acute, home health, hospice, and specialty care. The platform is already live with leading Home Health and Ambulatory health systems, processing hundreds of thousands of tasks fully autonomously. Connecting the Full Referral-to-Visit Handoff with AI Agents For organizations that want to close the loop entirely, Orchestrator integrates natively with Commure's Call Center Agents to handle everything as a single, automated workflow: scheduling once a referral is accepted, and Digital Intake agents to guide patients through consent, pre-visit forms, and insurance collection. Orchestrator runs on Commure's unified data model, connecting downstream to Ambient AI for clinical workflows and RCM for revenue cycle; the only platform with integrated, end-to-end coverage across the full patient journey. How Orchestrator Addresses Key Operational Bottlenecks Commure Orchestrator addresses five of the most expensive operational failures in the pre-visit journey: * Reduce Referral Leakage: Real-time referral queues connected with automated outreach prevent patient drop-off before it becomes lost revenue * Speed Time-to-Care: Real-time referral triage and provider matching enable faster response times, higher referral acceptance, and improved patient experience * Minimize Authorization Delays: Automated payer verification and prior auth tracking eliminate manual portal checks and last-minute appointment cancellations * Eliminate Intake Friction: Mobile-optimized pre-visit intake flows directly into the EHR as structured data, not a PDF attachment * Reduce Point-Solution Sprawl: A single platform replaces the disconnected mix of fax workflows, intake tools, and referral management software most organizations run today Commure Orchestrator is available for enterprise deployment today across all care settings.
