Coverage.com is an online insurance comparison marketplace that helps consumers shop for auto, home, condo, and renters coverage rather than underwriting policies itself. Visitors answer a few questions about their needs and receive tailored options from a range of partner insurance carriers, and can schedule consultations with licensed agents to complete a purchase. A Red Ventures company, it earns revenue through advertising and affiliate compensation from the insurers it features, which can influence how products are displayed. What sets Coverage.com apart is its role as an independent comparison platform that presents multiple carriers side by side, pairing self-service quoting tools with access to agents rather than selling a single company's products. The goal is to make buying insurance simpler and more transparent by helping shoppers weigh options and find coverage suited to their situation.

What critics are saying

  • Coverage.com depends on carrier partnerships; insurers can route shoppers directly and cut out the middleman.

  • Red Ventures can reallocate capital away from Coverage.com if insurance margins compress.

What makes Coverage.com unique
