Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a subscriber or direct to consumer focus.
  • Some direct experience working with, or on, a Growth Marketing team.
  • Passion and knowledge about digital media, news and investing.
  • Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
  • Fluency in product metrics, specifically those related to subscriptions.
  • Experience conducting experimentation, familiarity with Optimizely a plus.
  • Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Proven ability partnering with a technology organization.
  • Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally across business lines to define product requirements and prioritize the subscriber retention roadmap.
  • Support digital subscription growth by enhancing the subscriber onboarding, renewal, save offer and winback funnels.
  • Make product enhancements and optimizations to increase subscriber revenue.
  • Perform analysis to demonstrate ROI and impact of product enhancements.
  • Work with research teams to gather and analyze audience feedback regarding our products.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers throughout the product life cycle.
  • Define and measure KPIs for success.
  • Other duties as assigned.
