Requirements
  • 2-3 years of management experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience in large scale production with several different production lines and product types is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
  • Positive attitude, excellent communications skills, self-motivator, tenacious follow up, and superior organization skills
  • Ability to manage, coach, lead and inspire production staff of hourly associates
  • Adept in Microsoft 365, primarily Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Ability to problem-solve, compromise and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Address re-training requirements and coaching for production team members
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for motivation, communication, and training of the production staff
  • Lead team huddles to clarify goals and targets for the day
  • Keep all production within compliance guidelines and regulations
  • Drive production goals and streamline production processes
  • Ensure tasks are being completed safely and per the SOP
  • Communicate laterally with other management staff
  • Communicate with upper management
  • Approve payroll for associates on a bi-weekly basis
  • Provide any relevant company policy updates to staff
  • Delegate daily tasks as required
  • Recommend staff members for advancement or promotions
  • Assist with interviews and hiring as needed at the discretion of the direct supervisor
  • Work directly with operations leadership to establish schedules and timelines conducive to all parties
