  • Registered EEG Technologist - American Board of Registration of Eletoencephalograpic and Evoked Potential Technologists
  • Demonstrates proficiency of diagnostic testing in practical applications
  • Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to maintain equipment, products, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty
  • Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate medical terminology and documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty
  • Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience conducting a simple patient evaluations
Responsibilities
  • Prepares patients for and conducts routine Neurodiagnostic procedures, such as neonatal exams, at the bedside, and in critical care units
  • Collects data pertinent to the interpretation of test results
  • Performs all Neurodiagnostic procedures as assigned in at least one modality in accordance with the established department and hospital policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates competency in performing procedures on all ages under general supervision
  • Assists to identify patient and family learning needs and provides pertinent information regarding the procedure that is appropriate for age and level of learning to the patient and/or family
