Requirements
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be able to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.

  • You must have a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, and work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks.
  • You must be able to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions where common allergens may be handled or present.
  • You must be capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity and other elements while performing certain job duties.
  • You must be able to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find what they need or resolving issues, thanking them after transactions, supporting team efforts, and adjusting to business and guest needs.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all operating hours and prioritizing guest needs over tasks.
  • Engage with guests to capture and fulfill customized deli orders.
  • Execute food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing and storing reserve product.
  • Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards.
  • Produce, package and label items according to production cards and department routines to drive sales, in-stocks and profitability.
  • Follow food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperatures of temperature-sensitive food items according to Target policies and procedures.
  • Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process them according to Target policies and procedures.
  • Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
  • Follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment appropriately and follow equipment control guidelines.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
  • Work safely, comply with safety policies, best practices and training, and report and correct hazards where possible.
  • Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup and Drive Up while maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
