Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated Senior Python Developer to support a new and impactful initiative. In this role, you will work closely with a small, agile team and key stakeholders to develop custom analytics and protocol parsers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop and deploy network protocol parsers and fingerprints
• Integrate custom analytics and logic into tools
• Prototype and build automated workflows
• Overlay multiple datasets into a unified architecture for enhanced analysis
• Work with front-end sensor teams to apply tradecraft and extend capabilities.
• Maintain and contribute to code repositories using Git/GitLab and follow Agile development practices.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and C++
• Experience with Apache Spark for data processing
• Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebooks, JIRA, Confluence, and Git
• Understanding of ASDF and TCLD frameworks
• Familiarity with developing XKEYSCORE

Desirable Skills:

• Working knowledge of SNORT signatures
• Understanding of SCADA/industrial systems and related network protocols

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 8 years of professional experience

• This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
