Requirements
  • Two to four years of previous work experience in a Class 10 cleanroom environment, including cleanroom gowning protocols and cleanroom personal protective equipment.
  • Two to four years of previous work experience performing quality assurance and quality checks on parts used in the high-tech and semiconductor industry.
  • Ability to read English and follow technical procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to pass the required drug screening and background check.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to maintain the appropriate standards required for a safety-sensitive position.
  • Ability to work a compressed work week on either the FE shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday plus overtime, or the BE shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday plus overtime.
  • Ability to stand continually, sit frequently, walk up to two miles per day, and perform repetitive tasks continually.
  • Ability to work frequently in confined spaces and occasionally near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places.
  • Ability to work continually around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all site safety, quality, and company human resources conduct policies and protocols.
  • Read and follow written work instructions and procedures, ensuring that each step is completed and annotated when finished.
  • Use required safety equipment, including hearing protection, safety glasses or face shields, respirators, and chemical process personal protective equipment.
  • Handle potentially hazardous materials according to appropriate manufacturing and safety procedures.
  • Complete assigned tasks using hand and power tools, mechanical cleaning, and chemical cleaning equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining processing equipment in good working condition.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a cleanroom while following required cleanroom garments, personal protective equipment, and quality protocols.
  • Support inventory management to maintain proper stocking levels.
  • Keep the work area, equipment, and tools clean and properly maintained.
  • Perform final cleaning, drying, biking, inspection, testing, and packaging of parts and assemblies received from high-tech manufacturing customers.
  • Inspect, reassemble, test, and package customer parts and equipment in a critically controlled cleanroom work environment.
  • Communicate part defects or abnormalities to the Supervisor and Production Manager by issuing nonconformance reports for customers detailing defects detected during quality assurance and quality control inspection.
