Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years in a Consulting position in healthcare.
  • University degree or college diploma in Information Technology/Systems, health related field or equivalent.
  • Change Management Certificate an asset.
  • PMP, ITIL or another Health Informatics Certificate an asset.
  • Deep experience in implementing, optimizing and supporting Oracle Health solutions gained from: Prior consulting engagements, Hands on experience at a healthcare organization, Oracle Health training including Fundamentals and Design and Build classes.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; Very high degree of professionalism.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task as well as maintain intense focus on individual tasks.
  • Self-starter with ability to maintain schedule, meet deadlines, and monitor one’s own work product.
  • Highly adaptable; able to acclimate quickly to new project assignments.
  • Work successfully with different teams and co-workers.

Responsibilities
  • Performing healthcare enabling technology related consulting for Healthtech clients.
  • Assist or lead Healthtech projects as appropriate applying the skills and qualifications outlined in the Project Lead role description.
  • Apply technical expertise to individual client system design and configurations in order to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
  • Apply consulting expertise to lead and guide healthcare enabling technology projects including but not limited to IMIT strategic planning, total cost of ownership and system planning.
  • Tracking and documenting risks and issues.
  • Analyzing and documenting workflows for the consultant’s area of expertise.
  • Guiding client through future state workflows and configurations.
  • Lead or support data collection and other requirements for system design in a Data Collection Worksheet.
  • Perform system configuration in the clinical information system using native tools.
  • Supporting the clinical information system testing process including test script development, testing, documentation of issues and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and deliver training to client’s super users or end users.
  • Supporting goes live of new system or new functionality including staffing command centre for issue logging, troubleshooting, escalation and training.
  • Working closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation.
  • Working closely with health system end-users; monitoring workflows, providing documentation, and optimization suggestions.
  • Assist with meetings regarding project status and on-going work-product coordination.
  • Working with the Healthtech Team on supporting sales enablement and business development activities, which may include identification of additional client opportunities, onsite presentations, and supporting proposal creation.
  • Additional specific duties related to the project as may be required and dictated by individual clients. These duties are documented on a per-contract basis in the client’s Statement of work.
  • May be invited to attend corporate functions as a representative of the company to meet prospective consultants, as well as solidify relationships with client and Healthtech co-workers.
  • Working/leading Healthtech projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested.
