About the Role

If you want to dig in and learn, are proficient with technology, and are curious about what it takes to work with and be a part of a dynamic HR team in the eye care pharmaceutical industry, consider our Tarsus Human Resources team for your summer internship! You’ll have an opportunity to work alongside our HR team on a variety of learning/development initiatives, and performance optimization tools.

Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:

• Partner with the HR team and business leaders to drive effective talent management programs including performance management/optimization, employee growth and development, and workforce planning.
• Contribute to HR program rollouts to include coordination of communications, training, and reference materials.
• Research best practices on and share out opportunities to elevate our learning and development platforms.
• Assist in driving the success of DEIB culture activities and programs.
• Review current processes and identify areas for continuous improvement within our leadership development and high-potential employee populations.
• Collaborate with the HR team on various projects as needed.

Factors for Success:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrates knowledge in curating Human Resources learning and development initiatives, as well as a curiosity to learn more.
• Has a creative and innovative mindset and is ready to bring new ideas to life.
• Exceptional presentation, project management, and communication skills
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment, taking initiative, and working independently
• Can maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy with sensitive information
• Team player who can work collaboratively and communicate effectively within the team and across the organization.

• This position will be based in our beautiful Irvine office, complete with a courtyard, snacks, drinks, and occasional catered meals. We provide a hybrid work environment.

The expected base pay range for this position is $24hr - $40hr is depending education level and experience.  This pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
