Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Three years of full-time experience in architecture, pre-construction, construction, or related fields are required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Ability to apply technological solutions to planning or implementation assignments is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with system integration projects by coordinating submittals, manpower and staffing, resources, change orders, project tracking, and documentation.
  • Assist in developing project proposals by determining time frames, costs, procedures, staffing requirements, and allocation of available resources to project phases.
  • Work with the documentation group to prepare and organize all required submittal documents.
  • Purchase parts, supplies, and technical instrumentation according to specifications and system design.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and coordinate day-to-day operations for assigned projects.
  • Maintain project documentation and update it with change orders.
  • Participate in project review meetings with other contractors and customer representatives.
  • Review change orders and update pricing to maintain profitability and budget constraints.
  • Assist with preparing project reports for management, general contractors, customers, engineering firms, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain Job Hazard Analysis documentation.
  • Fill in for the Project Manager at meetings and other activities when needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with estimating tools and references, such as RS Means, and scheduling tools, such as Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with computer-aided design or building information modeling programs.
  • Experience with visual communication software, such as Bluebeam.
  • Experience with project tracking and document control software, such as Procore.
  • Strong understanding of programming, design, and construction principles.
  • Previous experience in industrial automation.
  • Experience participating in team and customer meetings and generating requests for information, action item lists, and meeting minutes.
  • Experience using customer portals for project documentation, such as Procore.
  • Knowledge of controls systems using Rockwell hardware and AVEVA software.
  • Knowledge of data center building management system and electrical power monitoring system equipment.
  • Experience working with electrical installation contractors.
