POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking candidates for the position of Video Coordinator.
Primary responsibilities include:
Produce, direct, and coordinate live streams and live video board events in our sports venues.
Provide assistance to video directors/coordinators for video board and live streaming productions.
Produce athletic video content for live streams and LED display playback.
Oversee the basic maintenance, regularly scheduled software updates and simple repairs to production equipment.
Supervise/manage/train/recruit up to 75 part-time employees and production interns.
Preferred knowledge:
- Sports and technical directing.
- Associate producing and directing.
- Basic video engineering.
- Camera, video and graphic operation..
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
If filled as Media Production Specialist - Professional, this position requires:
Associate Degree
No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.
Required Certifications:
None
If filled as Media Production Specialist - Intermediate Professional, this position requires:
Associate Degree
2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Required Certifications:
None
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $42,100.00 - $67,300.00.
