Requirements
  • A higher-education qualification equivalent to Bac+2 in purchasing or logistics.
  • Five years of professional experience, including at least one year in a humanitarian logistics coordination role or at least two years of experience as a logistics professional.
  • Strong stress resistance and the ability to adapt in complex security contexts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French.
  • Ability to accommodate frequent travel, regular team changes, and deployment to international field contexts.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the mission logistics strategy and oversee its implementation.
  • Coordinate and supervise all logistics activities, including supply chain, vehicle fleet, stock management, equipment, buildings, information-technology infrastructure, communications, and energy.
  • Build team capacity.
  • Support the general coordinator in monitoring security procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with and proper application of Médecins du Monde and donor procedures.
  • Help ensure the quality, efficiency, and compliance of logistics services within the mission while contributing to fraud and corruption prevention.
  • Deploy to emergency contexts to launch new interventions, reinforce existing teams, participate in exploratory missions, open new missions or bases, provide gap-filling support to existing operations or missions, and support specific logistics activities such as training and preparedness.
