We’re hiring a Buyer Planner II!

About this position

The Buyer Planner II is instrumental in a transformational capacity & is aligned with the internal customers as a procurement ambassador & value-add partner to the business. This individual will be partnering with the business to identify & strategize sourcing activities that impact the day-to-day & strategic objectives of the company. This includes identifying and researching prospective suppliers, preparing requests for proposals (RFP) from suppliers, reviewing proposals, and negotiating prices and terms

What you’ll do

• You Support supervisor in the creation and execution of a comprehensive category plan & sourcing strategy for each category related to Indirect (various departments/categories)
• You Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders throughout the Procurement process to harmonize with & deliver business objectives.
• You Prepare sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work & related procurement documents
• You Build & strengthen internal relationships between Business Partners & Procurement and cross functionally.
• You Build mutually beneficial vendor partnerships that drive innovation & support business objectives.
• You Drive value in all areas of “AQSCIR”.
• You Demonstrate practical negotiation skills while working through the RFP & contract process through the procure to pay software.
• You Contract review/redline & associated collaboration/coordination with governing stakeholders (e.g., Legal, IT, Facilities, Finance, HR, Quality, etc.).

You should have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• You have 3-5 years of related experience.
• You are Collaborative, flexible & customer-centric mindset.
• You Focus on effectively & efficiently delivering outcomes for the Business.
• You have the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and effectively track details in a fast-paced environment.
• You have strong planning and follow up skills.
• You have the ability to collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
• You can anticipate obstacles, communicate effectively, and plan accordingly.
• You’ re adept at providing solutions and working in cross functional areas to facilitate successful completion of projects.
• You maintain positive relationships with all departments. 
• You value relationships and is able to influence others to develop relationships that are reflected in continuously positive experiences.
