Requirements
  • 3+ years proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the spa, hospitality, or wellness industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of spa equipment and maintenance procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety and regulatory standards related to spa operations
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operations of spa facilities across the chain to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and services
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment, supplies, and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards
  • Collaborate with other management staff to prepare and implement the budget for facilities maintenance, equipment upgrades, and operational expenses to optimize resource allocation and control costs
  • Train and supervise service team to ensure technicians are properly trained in equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance tasks
  • Oversee the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities department to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations for the service team, providing feedback and support to optimize performance and professional development
  • Monitor client feedback and address any facility-related issues promptly to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for each facility, including protocols for fire, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events to ensure the safety of clients and staff
  • Implement energy-saving measures, such as upgrading to LED lighting, optimizing HVAC systems, and using energy-efficient equipment to reduce utility costs and minimize environmental impact
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of new facilities, including project management, facility planning, equipment installation, and operational readiness, to support company expansion efforts
  • Maintain accurate files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment to ensure compliance and facilitate efficient maintenance processes
  • Manage the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment, supplies, and spare parts, to ensure adequate stock levels, efficient resource utilization, uninterrupted operations, and timely repairs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the spa chain
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience with energy management and efficiency initiatives in facilities
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
