Requirements
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline plus 8 years of engineering experience OR Masters of Science Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline plus 6 years of engineering experience
  • 4 years of proven leadership experience on a project and/or team
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
  • Candidate must have, the ability to obtain and maintain the following active U.S. Government security clearances: Dept of Defense Top Secret level and SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
Responsibilities
  • Staffing support to space systems programs
  • Conducting quarterly performance evaluations and annual reviews
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to the staff
  • Managing indirect, program direct, and capital needs
  • Professional development and mentoring of direct reports
  • Supporting Functional Homeroom initiatives and projects which include process improvement, Event Response Teams, Corrective and Preventive Action implementation, & Proposal efforts
  • Demonstrated ability in System Level Electrical Test and Evaluation
  • Understands NG test engineering practices and principles
  • Understands both electrical circuits and software within the flight hardware and EGSE
  • Provide support/guidance on test analysis, design reviews, and Test readiness reviews
  • Experience/knowledge of generating test procedures, electrical test equipment, electronics troubleshooting, and data reviews
  • In depth knowledge of Integration and Test process’, flows, in respect to electrical testing needs from factory processing through Launch campaigns
  • General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of spacecraft sub-assemblies and/or integration and test
  • Experience as an electrical/electronics engineer, Test Conductor, or System Test Engineer
  • Programming experience with any of the following languages: Python, C, C++, Perl
  • Experience as a functional manager
  • Experience in space systems and space system production, integration and test
  • Experience in Program project management
