  • 3+ years of experience leading mobile engineering teams as a Director or Senior Engineering Manager
  • Proven experience in mobile engineering, preferably building native mobile apps (either iOS or Android)
  • Proven experience working with product-led organizations to build a mobile vision and roadmap
  • Experience with the latest mobile development, build, test and deploy practices that drive agility, consistent delivery, and quality
  • Strong passion and track record of attracting, developing, and retaining engineers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Prior experience leading engineering teams that built web applications
  • Experience or understanding of secure mobile development practices
  • Provide strong leadership, support, and rally the mobile engineering team toward achieving customer outcomes
  • Manage and maintain a high-performing mobile engineering team that delivers consistently
  • Collaborate with the product team to plan, build and ship value to customers
  • Continuously monitor, improve, and drive mobile operations and practices necessary to deliver consistent, high-quality releases
  • Partner with mobile & platform engineering teams to ensure mobile apps are highly secure, reliable, and available
  • Work with the design team to help shape and evolve the design of our mobile app
  • Forecast hiring based on product needs and skillset gaps
  • Recruit and retain top mobile engineering talent to continue growing our product and engineering culture
  • Develop future leaders by identifying potential and providing necessary opportunities and support
  • Recommend mobile engineering org structure changes as necessary based on product and engineering needs
  • Coach and mentor engineers, lead engineers, and engineering managers on the mobile engineering team
