Requirements
  • Knowledge of Sun Life Financial Distribution and Sun Life Dealer
  • Experience with administration of Mutual fund or other security product licensing
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills
  • Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or equivalent is an asset
  • Great customer service skills
  • Problem solving and investigative skills
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
  • Results oriented team player with a continuous improvement mindset
  • System knowledge of M2, NRD and Univeris is an asset
  • Knowledge of life insurance and mutual fund industry
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong ethics, confidentiality and integrity
  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
Responsibilities
  • Support Advisors, Managers and financial centre staff with acquiring the educational proficiency requirements needed to apply for mutual fund registration course enrolments
  • Provide expertise and excellent customer service through handling inquiries related to mutual fund registration from SLFD, provincial regulators, commission staff and other internal partners
  • Ensure current advisor and financial centre information is up to date and maintained on head office systems and regulator databases (AMF and NRD)
  • Issue advisor agreements and rep codes for approved registrations
  • Assist with mutual fund registration projects as needed
