Staff/Project Level Geologist/Environmental Engineer/Environmental Scientist

What you'll do

• Support Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments/Investigations.
• Assist with remediation work plans and monitoring.
• Conduct stormwater monitoring and compliance projects.
• Perform a combination of fieldwork and office management and reporting duties.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-5 years of environmental-related experience.
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geology, Environmental Engineering/Science, or a related environmental degree.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze environmental data.
• Experience with environmental sampling and testing methodologies (e.g., soil, groundwater, air).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reports, proposals, and client interactions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for fieldwork throughout California.

• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Enthusiastic and interested in professional growth within a growing environmental consulting firm.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress towards Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Familiarity with environmental modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
• Experience with project management principles.
