Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years in Network Administration
- Expert-level knowledge of LAN and WAN-based technologies and protocols, including BGP, OSPF, Layer 2/3 Switching & Routing
- Expert-level knowledge of RF wireless designs, predictive/physical wireless surveys, on-site installation, maintenance/repair, and troubleshooting of WLAN systems
- Expert-level knowledge of best practices and design of a highly redundant LAN architecture
- Expert-level OSI layer 1-4 troubleshooting ability
- Minimum five (5) years Hands-on experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multi-user, multi-protocol networks
- Minimum ten (10) years of hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies
- Expert-level understanding of RADIUS, AAA, and TACACS+. Solid understanding of authentication databases/sources
- Expert-level understanding of Certificate Management via private PKI and public CA
- Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management (Airwatch, JAMF, Intune, etc.). Hands-on experience with mobile, traditional, and IoT endpoints
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the performance and availability of the network infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards to maximize productivity
- Design, Configure, Implement, and Support all network components
- Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic services
- Manage Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
- Participation in Day-to-Day Operations of the network environment
- Analysis of complex network problems and coordination of resolutions
- Conduct and assist in product evaluations to evolve our network
- Maintain complete detailed technical documentation of the network environment
- On-call for after-hours and weekend support
- Analyzing new technologies and determining their applicability in the organization's network
- Analyzing current WAN bandwidth usage and forecasting future requirements
