Duties
Leads up to 5 Product design divisions at Deel (each division contain up to 7 teams)
Direct up to 6 Lead Product Designers who report directly to you. (Each lead will have their own direct reports up to 7 product designers)
Own the strategy, architecture, and ultimately accountable for the success of the divisions you lead
Guide and coach the Lead Product Designers reporting to you (as well as the Lead’s direct reports when it’s needed).
Conduct design reviews and give actionable feedback (horizontally through all the divisions and teams you lead)
Creating or updating design frameworks
Be able to perform tactical/design work when needed to unblock your team
Build industry leading solutions to complex problems in a high dependency environment
Attract, engage and retain talent

Requirements
Previous experience as a Product Design Director or equivalent for at least 2 years Experience working in a fast paced environment (ideally scale up/start-up)
Previous experience as a Product Designer for a minimum of 6 years
Willingness and ability to be hands on when needed
Strong understanding of Product, Design and design systems
Strong leadership skills
Driven, collaborative and ability to multitask
Preferably based in EMEA or Americas (ET-timezone)
