Key Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate disk drive system components using CAD and FEA
• Plan and execute laboratory evaluations, perform data analysis, and report findings
• Conduct tolerance analyses, optimize designs, and perform failure analyses to develop innovative solutions
• Manage supplier relationships and processes, working closely with internal manufacturing teams
• Collaborate with development, manufacturing engineering, and procurement teams to drive project success

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with a graduating between Dec 2023 - Jun 2024
• Proficient in 3D CAD software and fundamental mechanical design engineering
• Familiarity with test instrumentation such as LDVs, structural dynamic analyzers, and accelerometers
• Experience in mechanical design, finite element analysis (FEA), tolerance stack-up analysis, and knowledge of engineering materials is a plus
• Effective problem-solving skills, creativity, and a knack for innovation
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
