Business Analyst

We are looking for Business Analyst to join our Ipendo Renewals team at Clarivate, Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work closely with Ipendo clients and support with operational activities which are required for successful renewal of client’s IP rights. We operate as Patents and trademarks unit and collectively operate from both Noida and Malmo Sweden to support client renewal services.

We are looking for a candidate with strong work ethics, excellent attention to details and with confidence to liaise with internal teams and regional stakeholders.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree

• The candidate should have minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience & 1+ year experience in the current role.

• P1 and P2 are eligible to apply. Ratings of achieved and above are eligible.

• Experience of working with Patents is mandatory

• A confident, engaging communication style, both written and verbal, to work with diverse and remote-based teams and customers.

• Good interpretation and comprehension skills.

• Flexibility in work hours, if required, as role includes close coordination with our global counterparts.

• Postgraduate or master’s degree.
• Experience of working on tools such as PRS, CPA direct, ECM
• Advance MS office tools knowledge – Excel, Power point presentation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize across projects to meet deadlines.

• The ability to learn new information quickly and adapt readily to change.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment; flexibility, attention to detail, focus on quality and a good team player.  

• Good understanding of countries IP laws.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Core Responsibility
• Responsible for ensuring that our clients enjoy the very highest level of satisfaction with Ipendo and our renewal service. 
• Manage and maintain data exchange between Ipendo and our renewal systems with detailed understanding of process flow.
• Develop competency in navigating and understanding various online Patent and Trademark databases, while having a firm grasp of how IP Laws impact decision making.
• Process allocated work as per work instructions / team alignment / task priority/ client requirements.
• Perform data validation and verification to support clients for their data quality check.
• Work on different financial reports to support business operations.
• Review and analyze client correspondence to determine the necessary action required.

• Coordinate with different operations team to renew IP in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client receives the required information within defined timeframe.

About the Team   

IPENDO team is responsible for end-to-end renewal management process, furthermore, handling all Client engagement in relation to our integrated renewal service in Ipendo. 

The team consist of Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst and Manager, Service Operation. The reporting would be to the Manager.

• Internal stakeholders – Other teams within renewals business
• External Stakeholders – Customers and Agents

Hours of Work  

This is a full-time permanent position with flexibility to accommodate meetings with other time zones/regions. Team works 11:00 AM- 8:00 PM shift while working from home and general shift 09:00 AM-6:00 PM from office.
