Requirements
  • Personal vehicle to travel to multiple MA offices.
  • Currently Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline.
  • Experience with functional safety standards and regulations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with development and quality process (FMEA/FTA methods/tools).
  • Familiarity with several of the following specialties and a willingness to learn all of them: PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens), Robot (ABB), Software languages (SQL, Linux, Python), Embedded Systems, Industry Standard Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence Practices.
  • Excellent hands-on experience with assembling, operating and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems.
  • A desire to learn new equipment and assist team members as needed.
  • Able and willing to assist other team members with documentation efforts.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation communications skills.
Responsibilities
  • Communicating technical concepts clearly and concisely to Engineering teams.
  • Improve Documentation to conform with international safety standards and report issues to engineering teams and work with them on a solution.
  • Participate in Functional Safety activities for safety conformity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, development team and customers on Functional Safety.
  • Participate in the design process and provide professional feedback to achieve of the safety goal.
  • Participate in reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles.
