MS SQL Server experience with triggers, stored procedures, and CRUD operations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent education and experience
Hands on experience in OOP concepts and multi-threading

Test Driven Development experience a plus
Clear, concise, well commented coding practices

Responsibilities

Develop and/or support web applications using standard software design patterns and best practices
Maintain and enhance existing .NET web applications
Support backend webservices, console apps and WebAPI's
Implement high quality and maintainable code
Translate business requirements into development strategies
Work with business users to clarify requirements
Test and debug applications
Coordinate with other team members to build/deploy code
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using software development best practices
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our applications
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to match visual design intent
Develop applications with minimal guidance

Marcus & Millichap, Inc. is looking for an Application Developer with proven design and development skills to join a small, highly motivated team. The right developer will turn business requirements into applications that support our business partners. They will collaborate with their team as well as others inside and outside IT to deliver new capabilities that move our business forward.

Essential Functions

Develop and/or support web applications using standard software design patterns and best practices
Maintain and enhance existing .NET web applications
