Requirements
  • Completion of coursework in Engineering at the undergraduate level
  • Must be fluent in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of automobile and automotive engineering is a plus
  • Major focused on Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science required
  • Currently attending university (Junior or above level preferred) or undergraduate degree complete
  • Exposure to AI related coursework is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Compile overview of Generative AI theory and practice
  • Develop tutorial on AI terminology and system design
  • Summarize history and current state
  • Assess Generative AI trends and define automotive opportunities
  • Outline consumer application trends and design best practices
  • Benchmark current automotive applications
  • Develop alternatives to consider – revenue generating opportunities for Automotive
  • Assess impact to vehicle design
  • Consider the role of Generative AI in the product development process
  • Dimension process cost savings opportunities
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skill, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong research capability
  • High interest artificial intelligence topics and the automotive industry
