- 3 years of experience actively managing user directories, identity and authentication systems, SSO and related. Sample systems: Okta, AD, freeipa, Workday, DS389
- 3 years of experience scripting and consuming APIs. Sample systems: Python, Bash, Powershell, Git, GitHub Actions, Postman API, FastAPI, JSON, YAML
- 3 years of experience working in "the clouds," with web concepts and technologies: Sample systems: AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean
- Advanced networking knowledge
- Advanced information security knowledge
- In general, advanced knowledge of the IT Operations/DevOps world: Sample systems: BSD, Linux, Windows; Puppet, Ansible, Chef; Vagrant, Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of zero-trust systems with an identity scope. Sample systems: BeyondCorp, Okta ASA, Teleport
- Must have conceptualization skills and be able to easily engage in abstract thinking and logical reasoning
- Proven experience identifying, analyzing and resolving system problems

Responsibilities
- Owns user directories, identity and authentication systems, SSO and related. Sample systems: Okta, AD, freeipa, Workday, DS389, LDAP, Kerberos, FIDO
- Owns the MFA systems that plug into the above. Sample systems: Duo MFA, Duo MFA proxies, Yubikey, Google Authenticator
- Owns the automated systems that run workforce on-boarding and off-boarding: Sample systems: Python, Bash, Powershell, GCP, AWS, Azure, Git, GitHub Actions, Postman API, FastAPI, JSON, YAML
- Automates current manual tasks. Looks to automate self out of a job
- As needed for the above, manages multiple types of IT systems and infrastructure, including configuration management and security patching
- Keeps these systems secure and compliant with all applicable regulations such as HIPAA and PCI DSS
- Creates and documents playbooks, processes, checklists, etc; helps generate FAQs, user guides, and self-help documentation; trains junior IT staff. Sample systems: LucidChart, Confluence, Google Docs, Zendesk KB
- Works long/late hours and weekends occasionally. Travels occasionally
- Participates in on-call rotation
