- Manages all aspects of various mid-size BJC Health System insurance programs. This includes operational responsibility, exposure data review/analysis and insurance renewal submissions. Makes recommendations to Director of Insurance & Risk Financing.
- Assists Director of Insurance & Risk Financing in the development, analysis, and assessment of financial aspects of insurance programs to identify and mitigate risk exposures to the system that may cause loss.
- Manages and monitors compliance with various state workers’ compensation program self-insurance requirements, including qualifications, data analysis, reporting, and tax assessment filings.
- Works with the Director of Insurance & Risk Financing to identify process improvement opportunities. Assists with coordination and implementation of loss prevention and process improvement initiatives for insurance impacted activities.
- Other insurance-related duties as assigned.
