Job description

This role involves leading the local Data Science team while working closely with global counterparts to drive the development of AI and data science solutions. The position requires providing technical leadership and strategic direction across customer projects and internal initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, impactful, and aligned with business objectives. The leader fosters innovation, promotes best practices in data science and AI, and encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within multicultural, globally distributed teams.

What your new challenge will look like

• Guide, mentor, and manage team members to support professional development and maintain high performance standards
• Take ownership of data science and AI projects that drive business outcomes and enhance product capabilities
• Design and optimize algorithms, heuristics, and machine learning models to solve real-world problems
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define requirements, manage stakeholders, and integrate models into products
• Lead projects that collect, process, and analyze large datasets to uncover insights and enable data-driven decisions
• Develop and implement algorithms, heuristics, machine learning models, and generative AI solutions
• Prototype, train, evaluate, deploy, and continuously monitor AI solutions in production environments
• Communicate insights effectively through visualizations, dashboards, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute strategically by defining best practices, driving innovation initiatives, and identifying areas for improvement
