  • Working knowledge of HR and employee benefit-related laws/regulations including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA & FMLA.

Responsibilities
  • Address first-level escalated benefits inquiries (H&GB and Retirement) from Associate Care using plan documents, SPDs, and team expertise for timely, courteous resolution.
  • Execute daily/weekly Workday “Benefits Partner” tasks (life events, new hires, business processes, passive events).
  • Conduct end-user testing using pre-defined cases/scenarios, document defects for Product Owners (“POs”).
  • Coordinate site visits and logistics for open enrollment, benefits education sessions, fairs, and on-site vendor seminars (retirement & AAP).
  • Coordinate with Benefits Knowledge SMEs to improve the knowledge base (HR Now, Viva Engage, misc. docs).
  • Develop and design presentations using content provided by and collaborating with SMEs.
  • Verify all benefit eligibility requests from vendor partners and COEs.
  • Support vendor and administrative process audits, such as pharmacy, medical, retirement, and Workday benefits enrollments through report gathering and basic comparative analysis.
  • Utilize multiple reporting tools to assemble ad-hoc census reports, benefit reports, payroll reports concerning enrollment, demographic data, payroll deductions.
  • Provide monthly COBRA enrollment reporting to accounting & weekly ACH back-up invoices.
  • Organize and maintain department files in accordance with record retention schedules.
  • Monitor [email protected] inbox.
  • Coordinate document gathering for QDROs, subpoenas, and QMSCOs.
  • Calculate monthly Lincoln self-billing invoice.
  • Serve as back-up for all benefits team invoicing.
